Katherine Hendler Fayne

Katherine Hendler Fayne

Of Counsel

Katherine has a secret weapon: she knows how judges think. Working for two federal judges in Dallas for over four years, she gained invaluable insight that allows her to evaluate her clients’ legal issues from the viewpoint of a judge. After honing her skills as a law clerk and a commercial litigator for some of the country’s most prestigious law firms, she joined Amy Stewart Law, where she focuses on complex property claims and business interruption losses. Katherine loves the art of dispute resolution, from in-depth research and the delicate crafting of precise, persuasive legal arguments to the high-stakes give and take of the courtroom. She just “gets it,” and her clients reap the benefits of her inside knowledge.

Katherine’s reputation for exceptional advocacy earned her selection to Texas Super Lawyers’ list of “Texas Rising Stars” from 2013 to 2016. She is active in Junior League of Dallas, serving on the League’s Board of Directors from 2018 to 2019. Katherine also provides pro bono legal services as a volunteer with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program.

A Dallas native, Katherine headed to the East Coast for law school and her first years of legal practice but was inevitably drawn back home to her Texas roots (but not before traveling extensively and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro).
