Amy Elizabeth Stewart and Beverly Godbey Honored by 2018 Texas Super Lawyers

Congratulations to Amy Stewart Law Managing Principal Amy Elizabeth Stewart and Principal Beverly Godbey, both of whom have been recognized on the 2018 list of Texas Super Lawyers published by Thomson Reuters.

This is the 10th consecutive year Ms. Stewart has been on the overall Texas Super Lawyers list of outstanding Texas attorneys. She was also named one of the Top 50 Women lawyers in Texas.

In addition to being recognized by Texas Super Lawyers, both lawyers were recently recognized by Best Lawyers in America and named to D Magazine’s list of the Best Lawyers in Dallas. In addition, Ms. Stewart was named one of the Dallas Women Lawyers Association’s Outstanding Female Lawyers for 2017.

Ms. Stewart is the author of “Texas Insurance Coverage Litigation: The Litigator's Practice Guide,” a desk reference published by Texas Lawyer. In 2013, she was elected to the prestigious American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel.

Ms. Godbey is the immediate Past Chair of the Texas Center for Legal Ethics’ Board of Trustees. In 2017, she received the prestigious Fellows Justinian Award presented by the Dallas Bar Foundation.

To compile the Texas Super Lawyers list, the publication solicits nominations from more than 70,000 attorneys across Texas. A blue-ribbon panel of lawyers then assists with final selections, which represent no more than 5 percent of Texas attorneys.
